Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC), Ranchi has released a notification for the recruitment of 550 Medical Officer (Basic Cadre) Vacancies in the Health Department of Jharkhand Government.

Age Limitation: 

Age Limitation for the applying job seekers must be:

1. 35 years for Unreserved
2. 37 years for BC-I/ BC-II
3. 38 years for Women (UR/ BC-I/ BC-II) candidates
4. 40 years for SC/ ST (Men & Women) as on 01-08-2014.

Educational Qualification: 

Candidates must possess M.B.B.S. from recognized Indian Medical Council Medical College.

Selection Process:

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Written Test & Interview.

Application Fee:

Candidates can pay the application fee via Online/ Offline Mode. From below states, you can check the fee by both modes:

Online Mode: 

• General/ BC-I/ BC-II candidates: Rs.468/- (Rs.400.50/- for Exam Fee + Rs. 17.50/- for Online Application Fee + Rs.50/- for Bank Charges)
• SC & ST candidates of Jharkhand: Rs.168/- (Rs.100.50/- for Exam Fee + Rs. 17.50/- for Online Application Fee + Rs.50/- for Bank Charges) through State Bank of India.

Offline Mode:

Applicants who want to submit the fee through offline mode they need to download challan form from the official website that is www.jpsc.gov.in.

Note:

Handicapped candidates (minimum 40% of Disability) are exempted from exam fee but they have to pay Rs.17.50/- for Online Charges & Rs.50/- for Bank Charges.

How to Apply:

• Interested candidates can apply online through the website www.jpsc.gov.in
• After applying online, take print out of the submitted online application form.
• signed on it and send along with self attested copies of relevant certificate, etc, enclosed in an envelope super scribed with “Application for the Post of Medical Officer Advt No.02/2014″,
• Application form must reach through speed post/ registered post/ by hand to Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Circular Road, Ranchi-834001 on or before last date that is 08-12-2014 till 05:00 pm.
